Pokémon comes to Belton House this half term
By Hugo Pembroke · 14 May 2026
If you have children who love Pokémon and you are looking for something to do over half term, Belton House has you covered. The National Trust estate near Grantham is one of just 14 sites across England and Wales chosen to host a brand new outdoor Pokémon trail.
The National Trust has teamed up with Pokémon to create Mega Evolution Trails, running at selected locations from 23 May during May half term.
Belton House is the only site in Lincolnshire taking part. Families will follow a trail around the grounds, searching for 10 Mega Evolution Pokémon at different stations. Each stop asks children to take on a short physical or creative challenge tied to a specific Pokémon character. Children can show courage with Mega Gengar ex, or burn off energy with Mega Charizard Y ex.
A trail sheet lets young visitors keep track of what they find along the way. Once the trail is complete, families can mark the moment with a photo at a dedicated Pokémon backdrop on site.
The trails are included in the standard admission price. National Trust members get in free as usual.
This is the first of several Pokémon experiences the National Trust plans to run at its sites throughout the year.
